Terms of Service

Plain English summary: WorklogPDF turns your Jira worklogs into PDF invoices. Use it for that. Pay your subscription on time. Don't abuse the service. We'll do our best to keep it running but can't guarantee 100% uptime. If something's not working, email us.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using WorklogPDF ("the Service") at worklogpdf.com.au, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and The Byte Lab ("we", "us", "our"), based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

2. Description of service

WorklogPDF is a web application that connects to Atlassian Jira Cloud workspaces via OAuth and generates PDF invoices from worklog data. WorklogPDF is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a product of Atlassian Pty Ltd.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organisation.

4. Account registration

Your account is created when you authenticate via Atlassian OAuth. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and must notify us immediately at worklogpdf@thebytelab.com.au.au if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Free tier: Up to 3 invoices per calendar month. No credit card required.

Pro subscription: Billed monthly in Australian Dollars at the rate displayed at purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Cancellation: Cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds for partial periods.

Price changes: We'll give 30 days notice of any price changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Failed payments: If payment cannot be collected, your account will be downgraded to the free tier.

By connecting your Jira account, you authorise WorklogPDF to read your Jira projects, issues, and worklogs on your behalf, and confirm you have the right to grant this access. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with any obligations you have to your clients or organisation.

8. Intellectual property

WorklogPDF and its software, design, and content are owned by The Byte Lab. You retain ownership of all your data — Jira data, company information, logos, and generated invoices. We claim no ownership over your content.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that invoices generated will meet any specific legal or accounting requirements in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for ensuring invoices meet applicable legal requirements including GST, VAT, or other tax obligations.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, The Byte Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or AUD $100, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any guarantee, warranty, or right implied by the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Service availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any feature at any time. We may change these Terms with 14 days notice for material changes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time by emailing worklogpdf@thebytelab.com.au.au. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data is retained for 90 days then deleted.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
