WorklogPDF is operated by The Byte Lab ("we", "us", "our"), based in Melbourne, Australia. We provide a web application that connects to Atlassian Jira Cloud workspaces and generates PDF invoices from worklog data.
If you have questions about this policy, contact us at worklogpdf@thebytelab.com.au.au.
Account information: When you connect your Jira account, we collect your Jira email address, display name, and the details of your Jira Cloud workspace. This is used to identify your account within WorklogPDF.
Jira OAuth tokens: We store the OAuth access and refresh tokens issued by Atlassian so you stay connected without re-authenticating on every visit. These tokens are stored securely and used only to make API calls on your behalf.
Billing rates: The hourly rates and currency settings you configure are stored so they persist between sessions.
Invoice records: When you generate an invoice, we store a record — the invoice number, client name, project key, billing period, total hours, subtotal, currency, and line items. We do not store raw Jira worklog data — only the processed invoice output.
Company settings: If you upload a logo or enter your company name, address, and tax ID (ABN/VAT/GST), we store this so it appears on your invoices.
Subscription and billing: Payments are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status. We do not store card details.
Waitlist: If you submitted your email on our waitlist, we store that email address only to notify you of relevant updates.
WorklogPDF requests the following Jira OAuth scopes:
We do not request write access. We cannot create, edit, or delete any Jira data.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
We use the following services to operate WorklogPDF:
We retain your account data and invoice history for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 90 days then deleted. Your Jira OAuth tokens are deleted immediately if you disconnect your workspace.
Under the Australian Privacy Act and applicable privacy laws, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email worklogpdf@thebytelab.com.au.au. We'll respond within 30 days.
We use encrypted storage for OAuth tokens, HTTPS for all data in transit, and access controls ensuring your data is only accessible by you. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
WorklogPDF uses a session token stored in your browser's localStorage to keep you logged in. This is not a tracking cookie. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party tracking scripts.
If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
